Could someone give me a rundown of the MVP/Axiom putter lineup. Outside of the Envy I don't know anything about them and I'm curious. They have a ton of putter molds and its a bit overwhelming.

You have to feel them to understand the differences in the 2 groups below.

OS to US

Standard inner wall angle.

Envy>Particle>Atom>Proxy

Curved inner wall.
Ion>Anode>Spin

Some will argue that the Particle is more OS than the Envy. I find that the Particle has some high speed turn, where the Envy has almost none.

I Agree with this dude. With that said, The Atom is the best disc of all time. But also that Axiom needs a traditional 2 speed putter that can be an option for main putters. I feel MVP putters are almost too fast sometimes for putts ---would like to see another Axiom or Streamline putter-----ps: Streamline Pilot is a straight thin putter that's similar to the atom.

.but the atom is still better

So, the time I've been sort of out of the DG loop coincided with these newer releases...

Wasn't the Particle going to be the MVP Zone?

Sounds like besides the release, I bet I missed a lot of hair pulling/teeth gnashing over this?

Particle isn't close to Zone OS, it's just a touch more stable than the Envy. MikeC apparently likes the Particle but I doubt many people dumped the Envy for them. I know I didn't.

Particle and envy are really close. I like the particle better just because of how it feels in my hand. I used the tensor like a over stable putter shat as well.

Envies, all day e'r day.

I currently bag three.
-A premium plastic (neutron, neutron soft, or eclipse depending on weather/course/current mood) as my primary throwing putter
-A beat electron envy for understable approaches, circle 2 putts, and other understable things
-A fresh electron envy for putting in the circle

If you're someone who likes to throw flippy putter shots a lot, then I could see wanting to bag a Proxy in premium plastic rather than a beat base plastic Envy. But I typically prefer to either throw a stable putter, a flippy mid, or a flick shot rather than going the flippy putter route, so my electron Envy doesn't get beat up too fast for my tastes.

I wouldn't really consider the Proxy flippy. I have a couple neutron and a plasma and they are pretty darn straight. I honestly don't see much separation between Proxy, Atom, Envy, Particle and can only justify bagging one of them. Envy/Particle do seem hold up a little better in wind for me so I pick the Envy. Zone handles OS stuff and a beat Roach for US stuff. Electron Atom or Envy could also cover US stuff with some wear.

I've got 3 N Proxies. Only one of them has much HS 'turn,' I'd call it drift. I think it was that way new, but I've had it the longest, so it's fairy beat in, and I can't recall for sure now.

The other 2 I got at the same time, are newer, and at say 250' they won't turn on me. Maybe for longer throwers..?

My beatest N Envy (my 'baby') still won't turn, unless I have a sloppy release in a blustery header.

So, in N at least, my experience is new Proxy = beat Envy.

agree to an extent - they are ALL very similar - Pilot, Proxy, Atom, Particle, Envy - All modern feel, fairly fast putters with decent glide that are stable straight. It may just depend on personal preference and the wear on the disc

I currently am using a Worn Proxy for US, a fresh Proxy for straight and a OS neutron Atom for stable to slight fade (but its not very OS obviously) and then a Zone for really OS. Its been working out great. Another lineup I have is a beat electron Atom, Fresh Electron Atom, Fresh Neutron Atom, that covers 3 stabilities but all VERY close so its small changes, but I like that in a single mold mix.

What they really need are more traditional putters that are more speed 2 --- all theirs are 3's I think atom almost seems like a 4 --- I was not a fan of the Ion or Spin, never tried an anode ---- but I don't have a desire - I tried the Pilot and its good but, Proxy Atom are my jam and sometimes Ill swap out my OS atoms for Envys but honestly there isn't much difference between all of them. and whoever thinks Envy's and Particles are 'that' different....idk...they were about the same but I agree Envy seems generally more OS and its not even that OS . like a fade of 2 and its late. so.....they need a mixup 1) a more OS putter like a harp or zone. 2) traditional putting putter that is high speed stable with some fade. and 3) more axiom discs and streamline - I think MVP lineup is almost done

Like to see a speed 10 control driver like 10/5/-1/2 come on ;)

Interesting. I've never thrown Proxies myself and only have one buddy that does. It definitely flips for him, but I also don't know how old his Proxy is.

Well, I guess this makes the decision even easier. Buy an Envy in premium plastic and another one in electron. Beat in the electron until it's understable. Problem solved, now you've got Envies for straight-to-fade and flippy duties.

yeah get a plaz ion

I think even for non-cannon arms that a Proxy can get turny. One of mine, the one that's not max wt (like mid 160s) seems really stubbornly HSS. But it's still pretty shiny, I've thrown some, but haven't bagged it.

mvp needs a true lid and a zone ripoff

Dude we got the Envy! it's like a super lid! Kinda like the lovechild if a lid got it on with a Zone...

But yeah I feel pretty covered on the lid thing with Spin and Envy but it's tough to duplicate a Zone.. You would think with Gyro that would work out but I think Gyro has a moderating/ homogenizing effect on putters for the first 3/4 of flight.

Particle and Atom are also even lower profile than Envy/Proxy I think. I know my Envy feels like an Aviar compared to my N Particle. That's got it pretty wrapped up. Only other thing I'd mention is that there is a big stability gap between Anode and Spin.

My N Envy is more OS (at least more HSS) than my N Particle also.

IME, Particle and Envy are kinda like Servo and Crave. Crave/Envy have more HSS but Servo/Particle have more LSS. On equal throws, the C/E wont turn as much(if any) but S/P will drift right(rhbh) a bit before flexing out and will fade further away the center line. Just depends on what you consider more OS.
