Out of curiosity, how many discs do you bag?

I carry 16...I could be anywhere in the 14-18 range and feel comfortable in most all situations. 18 would cover me for pretty much all courses and winds, as I throw BH/FH regularly and none of my discs are FH specific.

15 discs no matter the course or the conditions. This includes the 7 or so PDGA events, appx 10 unsanctioned events, 20+ leagues, and all casual rounds in a year. The only exception is the occasional quick round during lunch at work (there is a course 5 minutes away) where I will carry 1 or 2 discs.

Much prefer to have the confidence and experience with every disc in my bag to throw multiple types of shots with a single disc, rather than each disc being a one-trick pony.

~6 for super casual (Anode, Axis, Resistor, Volt and 2 others, depending on the course)

~12 for tournaments (3 putters, 2 mids, Resistor, 2 Volts, Motion, Insanity and possible backups)

I bag 24 in my latitude E3 bag. As others have said, I like it full, I can just glance at and know if I'm missing a disc.

5 Putters. 1 driving, for upshots, 2 Gauntlets for chain duty only.

5 Mids
7 Fairway
7 Distance

Some of the discs are shot or hole specific, but most are duplicates in different states of wear. I will also bag an extra old driving putter if I happen to be going to a specific local course that has a hole with a very tight fairway with water on both sides. I play one to two casual rounds a week & this year did 5 C/B tier tourneys. Hoping to get in more next year.

It looks like 18 is a popular number, and that's what I carry.

7 DD (a couple are spares since I play some courses where lost discs are very possible)
3 FD
4 MR
2 P
2 Utility

That pretty much fills up my bag, so it's easy to be sure I haven't forgotten a disc.

Currently 12, but I just got some new discs that might bump it up by a couple.

2 putters
2 mids
3 speed 6–7 drivers
3 speed 8–9 drivers
1 OS utility
1 roller

usually 10. I throw them all, but don't really feel I NEED them. just like to experiment a lot...

I can get 17 discs in my Fade Crunch Box, so I carry 16-17 discs in it as my Core Bag, course non-specific. If and when I start playing in tournaments, I'll probably use a bigger bag and carry more, mostly for backups and such stuff.

Keeping my bag light

I bag 10 or less, depending on conditions, and only really throw 4-5 regularly. Others are there for extra wind or utility options. I'm not good enough to sport anything above a starter bag, it just complicates things too much.

Amp, Volt, heavy Tangent, and a bunch of putters are standby or learning discs. Relay, light Tangent, and a couple of putters are all I really require.

21 - UPD Rebel for tourneys
17 - UPD Shift for casual
3 - Touch for pitch 'n putt (Horning's Highlands)

I carry 17 in my Grip. I feel like I can step on any course and in any weather with that set-up and be good.

I use probably a dozen (or fewer) discs consistently, but I bag between 20 and 30.
Fewer in the Grip EQ, more in the Go-Kart.

17 - 19 typically, when I was playing tournaments before I destroyed my shoulder again. Couple A and C tiers per year, in Advanced.

Now, rehabbing my shoulder, I've been carrying 10 - 12. I can only throw FH.

Same bag, casual or tournaments. Currently 17 in it, which is a little high for me. If I'm playing a waterless course, and I think of it, I'll pull 2 floaters out (I play a lot of casual rounds on a course with water I can barely, maybe, carry). On tournaments on water-laden courses, I might add 2 or 3 extras.

There's a little fluff in there because I'm carrying a few discs I'm experimenting with, and a few just for warmups and multiple throws during casual rounds.

On the other hand, sometimes I've added a couple of putters, just for warming up in shotgun starts.

Tournaments: I usually average 6 a year, though I've only played 1 in the last 15 months due to a string of injuries.

I'm currently throwing 11. I played in a new league a few times this fall, haven't played a tournament in a couple years.
