One day in Portland

Yeah, this West Coast rain is pretty weak. You get more rain in an afternoon thundershower in Louisiana than we get in a month of rain in NorCal.
I feel ya! When I was living on the Oregon coast, the annual rainfall is similar to Louisiana.

Its definitely a challenge to say the least.

You're looking like you will get dry weather (and highs in the 40s isn't too bad).

It's pretty great down here. Well, except for the flooding. We could do without the flooding.

And the thunderstorms. And the heat. And the humidity.

When I lived in New Orleans, I would walk around town with a golf towel slung over my shoulder for half the year, just to wipe away the sweat and mugginess.

The heat almost never gets above 110.
The humidity never, ever, gets above 100% and the vast majority of the time it stays below 90%.
You got me on the thunderstorms, but these three conditions, high heat, high humidity and thunderstorms, mostly never happen all at once. Mostly.

Well at least you got out alive. Why were you walking around town in New Orleans? Are you nuts?
