Have you tried "painting" on shadow with a manual brush before?

My first thought about this has been to get a q-tip, a lil acetone, and shade from the dyed areas, but I haven't tried it yet

None taken. It lets you do specific portions of the dye instead of the whole thing.

one of my firsts, it has a few bleeds, but I think it's because of the 3m free vinyl when it gets bubbles and you try and flatten them out sometimes it seems to rip. Also need to add a little more black to it as it sat in there for about 15 to 20 and is still pretty pale.
