I'm weirdly excited about this even though it seems gimmicky.

I really like the sonic for the hyzer flip over and dive shots so maybe it's a longer version of that very specific goofy flight.

Doesn't seem like the PDGA approved mold is the one being shown in this video. Rim Width for the approved matches up with the Sonic but this seems a bit wider (small diameter mid range). Kinda looks like the Pig/Spider rim?

i had a chance to throw a buddy's star alien; moose called it:

a thicker rim, but feels pretty much like a sonic & flys as you would expect from a more stable sonic

Yikun had that stable-stable lid...the Claws...and that thing was awesome until it took a hard hit. This looks like it could fly similar to that, but perhaps farther. I mean I'm definitely buying a Star Alien, but this might be more gimmicky than useful
