How many courses have you played that are the highest rated in their state?

NC - Ashe County (and 9 out of the top 10)
SC - Langley Pond (8)
VA - Lake Marshall Lions (6)
TN - Harmon Hills (2)
PA - Muddy Run (1)

Have played the 2nd-ranked courses in Georgia (WR Jackson) (3) and Florida (Green Gauntlet) (3).

Updating mine, adding three states. Two newly visited, the other because of rating changes to the previous state leader.

NC - Ashe County (and all 10 of the top 10)
SC - Langley Pond (9)
VA - Lake Marshall Lions (7)
FL - Green Gauntlet (3)
TN - Harmon Hills (2)
WA - Shelton Springs (2)
PA - Muddy Run (1)
MD - Seneca Creek (1)

Have also played the 2nd-ranked course in Georgia (WR Jackson) (3).

I have not been playing a whole lot this year, so I'm a little surprised by the degree to which my list has changed.

1. Michigan - Flip City
2. Illinois - Fairfield Park
3. Kentucky - Idlewild (I think Iffy Hollers is even better)
4. West Virginia - Whippin' Post & Woodshed
5. Georgia - Hobbs Farm (also Flyboy)
6. Tennessee - Harmon Hills
7. North Carolina - Ashe County
8. South Carolina - Langley Pond
9. Missouri - Harmony Bends
10. Maryland - Seneca Creek
11. Minnesota - BRP (liked Bryant Lake better)
12. New Jersey - Stafford Woods
13. Delaware - Iron Hill
14. Indiana - Prides Creek
15. Rhode Island - Willow Valley
16. Massachusetts - 501 Disc Golf (Maple Hill s/b #1!)
17. New York - Warwick Park/Brakewell Steel
18. Ohio - Echo Valley

Sep 2022 updates:
19. Vermont - Smugglers Brewster Ridge
20. Maine - Sabattus Eagle
21. New Hampshire - Salmon Falls
22. Pennsylvania - Muddy Run (gimme NoBo!)
23. District of Columbia - The Fields at RFK

I had Connecticut, but looks like Wickam Park has since edged out Nichols Field. :\

Well I added 3 this year.

Ashe County-NC
Harmon Hills-TN
Longview-KS

Prior to that I had 9.

Rollin Ridge-WI
BRP-MN
Fairfield Park-IL
Wildcat Bluff-IA
Harmony Bends-MO
Idlewild-KY
Woodshed/Whipping Post-WV
Spearfish Canyon-SD
Iwen Park-North-ND
Flip City-MI

Since then, and played this year at/newly at number 1.

Echo Valley-OH

So...14 It looks like. Echo Valley, Harmon andLongview are legit top courses. I was pretty surprised at Ashe County's rating to be honest. Super fun course but hard to believe it's tops in NC. I did play Sugaree on that trip though so there's that ;)

Honorable mentions.

Diamond X-Original-MT (2nd)
Moraine SP-PA (2nd)
Energy Rotary Club DGC-WY (2nd)
Hummel Park-NE (3rd)
Roger's Lakewood Park-IN (6th)

My IN courses played list is shockingly weak, and not top heavy whatsoever. The crappy Chicago 9er's are like a force field for a course bagger to get past. Or maybe an asteroid field, you're going to hit a few at least :p

It took me almost 2 years to bag every single Chicagoland area course and I still have I think 1-3 more left with a few bonus ones way south of the city and then that will be it including Rockford area. I still need to make my way down to Lemon Lake and Rogers Lakewood Park.

Nice job, Bogey! But the main thing that catches my attention is DC! I didn't know it had any courses to bag. I'm there!

Monocacy have me the heads-up about it.
It's a temp/pop-up course on the grounds of the dilapidated RFK stadium, where the Washington football team played during its glory years under Joe Gibbs.

Course itself is meh, but it's a real course, inside DC proper... which makes it the highest rated course in the Disctrict of Columbia, by default. :\

MI
WI
KY

Haven't even played the one in my own state yet

Still have MI (Flip), WI (Rollin'), KY (Idle). Since this post I have gotten:

WV (top 2 ;)) (Whippin' Post & Woodshed)
VA (Lake Marshall - Lions) (1 trip to VA got me 5 of the top 10)
OH (Echo Valley) (Also Caesar Ford, same trip. Agree with Echo being the higher rated of the 2)
MA (Maple Hill)
DC (CRYSP)

8 out of 15 states played. And from what I hear from people's whose opinions I trust, I ought to have PA as well, and that Muddy Run is overrated.
