Actually that might be the pic of the actual phones they put in. They look old to someone not in the industry but I can assure you those NECs are only a few years old and quite good. They are IP based and completely digital. Full Duplex mode ftw. Just put those same ones in at work two years ago.

As a paying member, the transparency of their spending is appreciated and expected.

Typically you replace something when the cost to repair is no longer economical. And it seems like the money was well spent according to Steeze's post above. Let's hope the new phone system is maintenance free and reliable and saves the PDGA money in the future.
