Course update.
i recently secured an 18th basket and spent a couple weekends trying to eek out an 18 hole layout. i did some temp hole splits and my neighbor let me borrow 2.2 acres for a couple days and i was able to get there. I had 9 players players throw the par 56 4400 ft layout with the low round being 50. the course is still under construction. current course progress image below. 16-18 are on the neighbors property. hopefully he will let me put baskets out temporarily again.

I literally just wishlisted this course within the last couple days. Not sure how I hadn't before. I love following the progress of the course on here. And to be totally honest that's not how I pictured Alabama. In my WI mind, it's bayou and allligators :| I need to get around more lol.

Construction update:
Upgrades over the summer have slowed down a bit as the heat and humidity has been awful.
However, I have done a few things since my last update. 2 new fairways have been built, for new holes 11 and 12. Two temp holes from my previous map have been removed. i have secured a 20th basket, leveled the ground for two more tees, put in one additional basket sleeve in and installed another bench. My list of to-do items has oddly gotten longer and not shorter. Pictured below is a photo of the second green i'm working on on hole 11. Still a lot of clean up to do around the placement, but it's going to look killer when finished. yes the rock overhangs part of the basket and it will be even more so when i clean out the debris at the base.

The current plans is to come down to Huntsville for the week and play some on Monday and Tuesday. I only need to be there from Wed through Saturday for the USLI launch so the rest of the time should be available. It's a little early to say for sure how its all going to work out though...

Construction Update:
After a brutal hot and humid summer, i have finally begun course upgrades again. Still 2 holes to build and also two holes needing their par 4 extensions completed. There are currently 15 holes, but it's expandable to 16. Most holes have 3 tees and 3 basket placements. a couple holes have more than one basket. Ten six-foot wood benches are in place and another dozen tees have some other form of seating.

Don't be silly.

You are chained up in the basement and forced labor on the course. All those wood chips don't spread themselves.

On the bright side, you get to play the course occasionally.
