Happy to have a new course in panhandle after Hurricane Michael did so much damage to courses here. But only pro is that there are 9more baskets in the ground. There are 3good holes with concrete tee pads out here but that is it!

Whomever laid this out had very little knowledge of disc golf. Safety issues abound! Hole 1 could be an island hole, or as depicted by the map, a very stupid dog leg. As an island hole cars in the parking lot could be damaged. #2 provides decent length but parking lot and street are safety concerns. #3, for me, is the most disconcerting! It plays next to a children's memorial garden!! Lefties will have to hyzer over the area while righties will hope not to fall short. I'd hate to injure a visitor and can see it happening. #4 thru #7 are passable golf holes. #4 is a little suspect with the dog park coming into play. #'s5-7 play against the bay and, while short, are the most enjoyable on course with wind playing major factor. #8 is another safety hazzard. It forces you to throw over or around a pavilion. #9 is another dog leg that doesn't make sense. There are other tee pads that play to the same baskets some work, some are iffy and some are just plain dangerous.

The park is small but with a little more thought it could work as a nice 9hole pitch and putt course. The fact they poured multiple pads for 9baskets make me think their hearts were in the right place but didn't have enough knowledge of disc golf to begin with?
