Pros:

An amazing setting among large trees and mountains.
Never crowded.
Tons of birds and other wildlife.
Gracious hosts.

Cons:

Short holes... thankfully, since they are VERY tight.
No restrooms on the course, or other amenities... but those are located steps away in your cabin.
Spring and Summer are amazing up here, winters are hard and cold, you'll freeze ten feet 'neath the ground.
Uneven footing and lies are common, watch your step.

Other Thoughts:

I am jaded because I helped set up this course, but I can tell you it is a lot of fun for a resort course due to the difficulty found in such short holes. Most holes are between 100-200 feet, and heavily wooded. EVERY hole is challenging, yet every hole can be birdied with the right shot on the right line. Carving good lines is vital on this course in order to score well. We play the 6 hole layout 3X for our 18 holes. Come up and rent a cabin from some of the nicests, kindest and best hosts ever and enjoy the natural splendor of this course. Hiking, jeeping and other outdoor activities can be found in and around Angelus Oaks.
