Painfully long and open 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 18, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

+18 nice baskets
+Multiple tees on every hole. Turf tee pads which do ok.
+Disc golf only area. No reason for anybody else to come out here.
+Shouldn't lose a disc here as long as they keep the grass mowed.
+Good place for field practice.

Cons:

-There's 1 tree on the whole course and it doesn't affect any hole at all. Insanely open.
-6 holes are over 500 feet. I don't like very open, long holes. There's no challenge in them besides distance.
-Wyoming is windy. This course is open. Bad combo.
-The multiple tee pads per hole don't really do anything when the course is already very long and open.
-No signage besides hole #.
-Can see multiple baskets off a lot of the tees.
-Fun factor is extremely low.

Other Thoughts:

-This is a classic case of a community having money and useless land. They combined the two into a disc golf course. They should have grazed some cattle or sheep out there.
-I tried to have fun out here but this is one of the courses that I really don't find fun. Just long open shot after long open shot. My arm was already tired after Pine Bluffs in the morning and this course was just not fun.
-Please don't downvote me for giving a 18 hole course with multiple tee pads a 1.5. Those kind of things are good but they must be combined with a tree or two to make things somewhat interesting. Look at the photos and the hole lengths.

Fun easy course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 20, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

The baskets are nice. The teepads are nice with the artificial grass. Wide open and beautiful views. The grass was mowed lower than ankle height. All the tee signs had hole numbers as well as all the baskets so if you do get mixed up on where to go you know if it's the right teepad or basket.

Cons:

The course directions are not right, the road they tell you to take is blocked off. If you take the second round about exit and park near the RV area you'll be right by the practice basket. The field was mowed but they didn't trim around the teepads or baskets so grass was waist high around those, eat enough to deal with though. The teepads didn't have any marking other than the number and some of them didn't face the direction to throw. We got confused a couple times on the front nine throwing to the wrong basket but since the baskets were numbered we were able to figure it out.

Other Thoughts:

The course is nothing but hyzers and long shots. If that's not what you would enjoy, then this wouldn't be the course for you.
