Pros:
There is a box at the first tee with course maps/scorecards, so it is easy to find your way around. Layout avoids more heavily used parts of the park, so limited chance of "adverse" interaction with other users.
Cons:
No variety to speak of. Holes are all pretty shortand unimaginative.
Other Thoughts:
A very plain, vanilla out-and-back layout, with limited challenges. A putter and a mid-range will cover everything. The old Northwest Park course was more interesting and challenging. If you are in Madison, skip this course and go to the one at Lake Herman State Park.
