Pros:
* Nice, new baskets
* Well maintained
* Bathrooms/Playground/Picnic area(s)
Cons:
*Lack of signs and tees, I did find a few numbered squares in the ground (they are red) but I didn't find them for all holes, so you kind of guess where you have to tee off from.
* Mostly wide open shots. #2 is tucked away in some trees, a few trees on #7, and completely unneeded double mando on #9 (it's the direct path to the basket).
*Some pedestrian traffic, but no one got in the way.
Other Thoughts:
Overall, I was happy to find the course on my recent vacation. I played it twice for 18 holes, and while there isn't a lot of variety, I've played worse courses. The hardest part was guessing where the tees should be. As I mentioned I found a few markers but they are burried in the ground. THe course map on this site was very helpful.
As the trees mature through the park I can see this being a pretty decent 9 hole course for the area. If I find myself back in the area I would take people there to introduce them to the game, or practice some alternative shots.
