Pros:
Sure,... if the walking path is closed and you are a pro it might be great for tournaments but...
Cons:
Not beginner friendly or for the family camping crowd that makes great use of the park otherwise. #1 pin too close to ball field. #3 is too steep to play in the wet. Big mosquito factory casual water pond on the next hole or so. Too many conflicts with walking path on too many holes. #18 pin is too close to picnic area/ new playground. Some shorter pins/tees would improve safety and playability for all. It needs clearing and pricker bush removal. Must be a real beast in the summer when everything grows up. I suspect the local players can't handle the work of keeping up such a big course, especially since it doesn't appeal to the average player anymore, as did the original layout. Don't go after a rainy day.
Other Thoughts:
Keep casual players in mind per Steady Ed's wishes. As the only course in the immediate area this course is too long. Pack a lunch and bug spray, long pants, waterproof shoes, patience for path walkers... Park in the neighborhood nearby and save money.
