What can you say about Burnlaw?

A long time stop on the British tour this place is something else. A commune in a peaceful part of the North East, just south of the roman Wall it is Disc golf stripped back.

Some of my best experiences have been up there, not just in Disc Golf but in life.

If you ever get the chance too experience a tournament there do it.

The course itself is great fun with loads of Risk reward tempters throughout. There are memorable holes and as long as you don't go there expecting luxury you will love what you find.

Don't expect the best baskets - it's Burnlaw
Don't expect good tees - It's Burnlaw
Don't expect manicured fairways - It's Burnlaw.

What you can expect is a warm welcome on this commune/working organic beef farm, expect to find a slower pace of life and a place it will be difficult to leave. Your worries leave you as you go down the drive. Sit back, get rid of any expectations and just enjoy all it has to offer.

Please note this is a private course and you must contact first before playing

Why have I only given this three stars? Because this is a Disc golf review site and the course and facilities relating to it are probably only worth a 2 to 2.5 ish, everything else around the place is magical is magical though
