Pros:
-Great gateway baskets that catch amazingly.
-CONCRETE tee pads (The concrete was just put in a week ago from the time of this review).
-Good tee Leigh and width allowing a large run up.
-There are a good mixture of super short putter must get birdie holes, and absolute bomber hole that are over 500 feet.
-Fairly straight forward and easy to follow, except on holes 4 and 8 where the baskets are near one another and it can be hard to figure out what one you are shooting for.
-Although there is not a ton of trees on the property they incorporated every tree they had.
-The fairways are always moved even in the summer.
-Signs everywhere alerting the civilians to the course.
-On a collage campus so kids can get into the game. #growthesport
-No other courses near this area so its a nice place for the local golfer.
-It is never crowded here.
Cons:
-Lots of flat holes, there is deferentially no major elevation changes.
-There is no tee signs, so you don't know distances, OB (We assumed the campus boundaries and roads) or pin placements.
-There is only one pin for each hole so the course gets kinda bland if you play it multiple times.
-There is a valid risk of throwing onto a very busy road on hole 3, and another risk of throwing onto a less buys road on hole 7.
-There are no bathrooms here (Closest ones are in the park across the road).
-There is a very painful and non forgiving micro-forest to the right on hole 4, that appears to have a active bum camp inside it.
-The basket for 7 is in a very dangerous spot, being 40 feet directly in front of tee 8.
- Baskets 4 and 8 are right next to one another and its confusing as to witch one you are shooting to as the baskets don't have number plates.
-There is no practice baskets, but the first 2 holes are short so you have a chance to warm up before the long holes.
Other Thoughts:
This is a nice course with concrete tees and great triple chained baskets, however there is not a lot of challenge except for the distances, if you don't have a big arm. It seems to be well maintained with the grass never getting out of control. There is a few fun shots but nothing justifying a long commute to get here. If you are in the area stop by and throw a fast round but don't go out of your way to play here.
