Pros:

- easy navigation
- unique high risk course
- lots of challenging shots with very tight landing zones

Cons:

- high safety risk course, throwing down walking paths and right next to a busy road
- huge opportunity to lose discs, 7 out of 9 baskets are with 30 feet of water and several baskets are on slopes with water at the bottom
- no tee pads, no clear area to even throw from

Other Thoughts:

This seems to be a course that got forced into a park with very little land. The baskets are crammed in between roads and the pond with very little room for error. Not a beginner course.

High pucker factor, but fun course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 21, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Very high risk/reward course
- Challenging but fair
- Easy navigation / plays a loop around the pond.
- Heavy use of water hazard on most holes
- Fun use of tree hazards
- Scenic park
- Cart friendly
- Ample parking
- Restrooms on sight
- Water on site
- Trash cans are available early

Cons:

- Safety can be an issue on several holes
- High chance of disc loss!
- Some holes may not be playable due to anglers
- Footing on some tees can be difficult
- Not always sure where to tee off from
- Bugs like ponds.
- This may not be the best place to bring a beginner

Other Thoughts:

- Centennial Chains DGC plays around the perimeter of the pond at Centennial Park. 2 holes play safe of the water, but you will be throwing along the bank, over the water, and directly at the pond on the rest.

- Safety is a concern here. Hole 1 throws past a playground, hole 2 towards the beach area, and anglers were present on a few of the others when I played. This was a disappointment.

- If safety is taken out of the equation, this is a very fun and challenging course. Distance isn't really the challenge, but rather the high risk of going for it. Trees line the pond which adds to the challenge, and there is a risk of rollaways into the pond if you can't match the ground angle properly.

- Sadly this may not be a good course for an absolute beginner. A few of the holes don't have any bailout zone to land into if you can't carry the distance to the basket. Add in the high risk of disc loss, and I can see a newb becoming very frustrated.

- Final thoughts: I had a really good time playing here. The safety issues immediately get a half-disc taken off from me. If you like water courses, this one is fun and I will definitely be back.

Pros:

Challenging. Water, trees, and wind make for interesting play. Holes are not super long, but not super short either. Opportunities for backhand and forehand shots. Easy parking, with hole 1 tee and hole 9 basket nearby. Tees are well marked with posts. Restrooms available. Playground near hole 1 tee for the little tykes. Fishing and shade tree relaxing is plentiful. Nearby tennis courts available.

Cons:

Tee pads are currently natural surface. Some are uneven and rutted (see pic). Baskets could use numbers on them.

Other Thoughts:

Rumor has it that the tee pads will be improved, which will help a ton! Hoping that the water level will drop significantly so I can get my disks back! :) The water hazard here is very real! Neat course!
