Pros:

The Crivitz DGC is a very short but well designed 9er in a small city park. Even for my weak arm all holes are reachable, in fact, most are aceable. Really nice design for the small amount of space that is available.

The baskets are orange Mach 3's. These are all in excellent shape and catch really well. Number plates on the top which is pretty standard on these, but it helps differentiate which basket you're throwing at in such a crammed park. One pin position per hole.

The tees are natural. I assume the course doesn't get much traffic. These are perfectly adequate here. One tee pad per hole. Shouldn't be an issue.

The tee signs are well done. Hole #, par and distance along with any hole sponsors. No map but the basket is always less than 300 feet away. In fact all but hole 9 are less than 200 feet.

This course is kind of smashed into a tiny little park, but it flows really well. Course starts and ends by the parking area. Ace runs galore, great course for beginners too.

Cons:

The course is extremely short. Even for my weak arm it's basically a mid/putter type of course.

The tees are natural, but no run up is really needed.

The course plays pretty close to a playground area. While it shouldn't really be in play, it is possible.

Other Thoughts:

Fun little 9er. Not much to say about it to be honest. Short, ace runnable course. Nice course for an area that doesn't have too much nearby. Nice baskets, nice signs, good flow. No complaints on my end.

By no means should you go out of your way to play this. Not a good destination area for disc golf. BUT if you're going to be vacationing near here it's a quick bag and actually pretty fun. And I heard from a pretty reliable source that there may be a pretty solid 18 going in the ground within a year or so very nearby. This would be a great warm up for that one.

Short park course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 28, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Short course very close to HWY 141 through Crivitz. If you're passing through, it's a good place to stretch our for a few minutes.

- Nice teesigns with accurate info.
- Nice orange powdercoated Mach III baskets
- Use of trees and fence make for more challenge than the typical open park.
- No teepads, but level and maintained areas to throw from.
- Course flows well. It start near the parking lot, between the pavilion and soccer fields, around the back of a playground, then back toward hole 1 with 3 holes between the fence and other park features.
- Maintained well. The guy mowing stopped to chat for a minute and seemed to like that the course was there.
- Bathroom between 5 & 6 was nice, since we were traveling through.

Cons:

- Fence between the park and railroad can cause a long retrieval walk, especially if you go over on 8 or 9. If you do go over, be aware that there is a lot of poison oak near the railroad (info via the park maintenance guy).
- No real teepads or clearly defined tee area.
- Plays very close to other park features and the property fence. I had to cut 9 short, due to soccer practice.

Other Thoughts:

I'm glad I know this is in Crivitz, now. We travel through the area 5-6 times a year and having a place to stretch the legs and get some fresh air is always welcome. It's short and not super-challenging, but there was good thought put into the layout.

Crivitz get's Disc Golf. 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 2, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Course was rather short. Most holes where around 150' to 190' which made for some fun ace runs. The tee signs help indicate where to throw from next(I played in winter and couldn't tell you the conditions of the tee area). Designer did use the elevation that was present on the course to all it potential.

Cons:

Course is short and a lot of the throws are similar. Not many tree to really contend with but enough to make it enjoyable. The course was rather jammed into the grass area of the park. Definitely, would have danger issues if the course was full.

Other Thoughts:

The designer did do a really good job of making due with the limited space in the park.

Hometown course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 2, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Easy parking.
Hole 9 near Hole 1 Tee Off.
Bathroom near Hole 6.
Food, gas and lodging all nearby.
All Tees marked with signs.

Cons:

Fence dividing railroad O.B. A right hook or bad bounce off a tree means a long walk to retrieve your disc.
No course map. The one I uploaded needs correction.
No score cards.

Other Thoughts:

Short course but still challenging.
Great beginner course for people like my wife and I.
