Pros:
+ Low disc golf traffic in summer months.
+ Good novice course.
+ Baskets in good shape
Cons:
- Confusing layout until you get to know the course. Not helped by:
- 5 out of the 9 tees don't have tee signage.
- Hole #2 is the only real challenging tee shot.
- no real tee pads.
- Winds can be strong here, particularly on holes 4, 5, and 9.
Other Thoughts:
Because most of the holes have no signage, if you don't go with someone who has played the course before, you are going to spend a lot of time trying to figure out where to start, and where to go next. And with no tee signs, par and distance are best guesses - unless you refer to dgcoursereview prior and make a note. The holes with no signage are left with a post, and a hole number written in sharpie.
Still, while not a particularly memorable or challenging course, it's by no means a bad one. If you're in the area, you can have fun at the course. I wouldn't drive out of my way to check it out though, unless you're on some kind of disc golf tour of the area.
