Basic 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 22, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Bathrooms
Water
Parking
Good baskets
Easy to navigate
Located in park so the grass is kept cut

Cons:

Grass tee pads;
Not many technical or finesse shots;
Some pins are located near community center parking lot which may have a lot of cars--careful of errant shots.

Other Thoughts:

The course is a basic, mostly par three, and presents little challenge for experienced players.
A great game can be had here for beginner's. There were several holes over 400-ft that are marked as par 4. Little or no elevation change.

Front 9 were wide open and short. Back 9 was a little more challenging due to length (over 400 feet and pin location sitting on the edge of very thick woods and brush (do not over throw or you'll need a machete to hack a path into the brambles). All that said, it was a pleasant surprise to find it in small-town Kansas.

Grass tee pass were odd for me, as all courses I frequent have concrete. It wasn't clear exactly where the pad was. Nice baskets; all are marked with hole number. Majority of holes are wide open and under 300-feet. It was pretty easy to follow but several holes were not clearly marked... Hole 10 was a blind dog-leg to the right, which I didn't find out until after I threw to the 11 basket (because I saw it). I couldn't find 18 tee pad.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Course is only one year old. I think it's a great start with room for improvement. Would play again!
