The decision here is to either lay up short of the small gully or try and clear it. Birdie 3 is possible with either play but the lie across the gully makes it far easier. I let the wind decide for me as it takes about 400' power to clear the gully so if the wind will help I'll go for it but if it's detrimental I'll play it short.
