Pros:
- 2 Sets of concrete tee pads for each hole.
- Great use of the land available.
- Plenty of elevation and gaps to be hit.
- The iconic 3rd hole is so much fun!
- Plenty of risk/reward throughout the course.
- New parking area for hosting events and leagues.

- The hills can get kinda slick if it rains.
- Course can get very muddy especially in the back half.

Other Thoughts:
This has to be one of my favorite private courses! I had the pleasure of getting to know the owner and playing at his course a few times. He did a great job with the land he has available to put together a solid 18 hole layout with plenty of challenge but scoring abilities! If you get a chance check this one out!

Pros:
18 - Big 6x12 cement pads. 9 discatcher pros. Very well maintained. Lots of elevation changes and technical lines. Front 9 is where you get the Birdies and back 9 is a bit more challenging
Cons:
Wish it was longer. Hope to expand the course in the future.
Other Thoughts:

Pros:
Double D's Field of Dreams is a little labor of love project located around the property of the owner, David Davis. The course was established in 2018, so pre Covid. Apparently, he started out with just a basket. A short 4 years later he has 9 permanently mounted baskets and a practice basket by hole 1. So something good did come out of the pandemic.
The 9 baskets on the course are all Innova Discatchers, all of the newer variety. These are all mounted nice and level and catch great. Hole 1's has a purple top band and hole 9's has a pink top band, both sponsored by Throw Pink. The rest are your standard yellow yellow bands. All are easy to spot from the tee, regardless of the color.
There are tee signs at every tee, both longs and shorts. These are nicely done. They have a basic hole layout, par, distance and any applicable OB. Honestly, it's some of the best signage I've seen at a private course. Especially one in such it's relative early stages. Well done here.
The tee pads are all large, level concrete pads on the shorts. The longs are either gravel or rubber at the moment. The concrete pads are fantastic. The others are servicable for now. David said that the long (blue) tees will be concrete in June. Again, spectacular for a private course less than 4 years old.
The shot selection here is divvied up pretty fairly to both lefty's and righty's. I feel that it's actually pretty split down the middle. Every hole is fair though. A couple are tight, tight, tight. But there is a line there, often times 2.
The flow of the course is pretty easy to follow once you get orientated. David was nice enough to play the first 3 holes with us to get us on our way. We probably would've had no issue once we found hole 1 anyway. Besides that there were bricks with a next tee arrow painted on them at most, if not all, holes as well as some signs along the side of hole 3 and 12's fairway directing you to the slight backtrack to 4 and 13's pad.
The course is listed as permanent, but that's probably going to be mostly up to the owner's discretion. A great option in the winter month's though when most Madison disc golf goes into hibernation.
Other unique aspects here are the elevated green on 5/14. Just fantastic use of a green on what's an otherwise pretty short hole from the 5 tee. Very picturesque. Hole 3/12 has 5 or 6 large stones encircling the tee which is a nice touch as well. Hole 7/16 has an elevated basket on top of a stump tucked into a protected green. You tee off from inside an old tractor shed of one hole. These are the little things that make a difference here.

The long tees mostly consist of old rubber truck bed liners at the moment. But if things go as planned, and as mentioned above, these should be concrete by June. Just noting how it played today.
I wouldn't imagine that there's too many places to lose a disc here, but if they planted corn in the field along holes 3 and 12, there's definitely that potential later in the summer/early fall. Worth noting.

I was pleasantly surprised after our round here. I wasn't expecting it to be bad or anything, but you just never know with a private course. Especially one in WI in early April.
The course was in pristene shape for this time of year. I strongly debated sneaking in another quick 9 from the shorts, but had other bagging plans in mind. Really kicking myself for not doing that, but even getting another full round in. I'll be back though.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone traveling through the area. That being said, you MUST make a reservation via Facebook or email. The links to both are on the course info page here, which is where I got the info. I emailed David and he responded the next day and was nothing but a fantastic host.
These are the reviews that, for me, are the hardest to write. I settled on a 3 for this course, which by definition is "good". I feel that it's the correct rating. The caveat here is that I would put this one more in the 9 hole course category. So by that metric it's a very solid 9er. Regardless, this course was a joy to play and will be loved by any serious disc golfer. I will be back here for sure, and anybody reading this should check it out at least once. Also throw the man a donation. It's not listed on here to do so but there's a donation bin by hole 1. And it's the right thing to do.
