Pros:

This is a very short, 9-hole course on about 2-3 acres on the side of a hill, in a wind farm, in Northwesterin Ireland and about 20 minutes outside of Galway.

The biggest positives are that it's a real disc golf course and it is in Ireland, one of only two courses in the ROI at the time of this writing. There are 9 reasonably-good baskets and 9 well marked teeing areas. It has multiple tees, if you can find them. Some of the markers for the additional tees have fallen over.

The course isn't all that easy to find. If I hadn't had GPS, I would have never found it despite seeing the wind turbines that I knew it was under. Also, there are no signs pointing to the course once you get into the complex. So turn in, pass the parking lot and take a right at the split by the fence that surrounds a pond. The course is on your left just past a very small archery range.

The course has some not-insignificant elevation and one of the holes (hole 9) has an arguable obstruction that you must throw around or over.

This course has a pretty good view of the surrounding area and the ocean in the distance.

Cons:

1. Tee "boxes" are natural, not level and do not allow any kind of run up - although, to be fair, you really don't need one on any of the holes.

2. The tee boxes are "spongy" and springy because they consist of peat.

3. The course is wide open. There isn't a single tree on the course. The only challenges are provided by the elevation changes and the occasional large rock.

4. All the holes are short. You can get by with just a fast mid that you can putt with. I used a Pro Squall and didn't feel the need for anything longer. I'd be surprised if the longest hole was 300 feet. Several are under 200'.

No bathroom, water, course map or any amenities other than large rocks that you can sit on.

Other Thoughts:

Only go to this course if you need to bag a course and can't get to the other course in Ireland. This one isn't really worth the effort to get there. If it were more conveniently located, I'd rate it as a decent pitch and putt beginner course.

Pros:

scenic setting

Cons:

Built under a wind farm.
Built mostly throughout a peat bog.
Have to book in advance.

Other Thoughts:

When we arrived at the activity park there was no indication of where the course was exactly. There were a few buildings that seemed to serve as the office for the park but they were locked and nobody was present. According to the website the round is supposed to cost 5 Euro but not having anyone to pay we just went looking for the course. Driving about .25 mile back into the park on a gravel we were able to locate the course.

It was a relatively windy day I would estimate gusts ~30mph. The holes were located in a peat bog under a wind farm. The ground was squishy and wet. Footing was not great and my feet got wet right away.

Course itself consists of 9 very short holes none of which were over 200ft. There is some decent elevation change and some interesting basket placements using rock outcroppings. Overall not a fantastic experience would not return.
