Fading Fast 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 18, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

A number of open holes you can cut loose on. Very pretty setting. Some challenges with water/OB near the athletic fields.

Cons:

No Tees. No Signs. No thought in layout. Almost entirely throw-hard open holes.Several missing/damaged holes, particularly those behind the school. Many of the holes on the opposite side get very squishy after moderate rain.

Other Thoughts:

I'm told this was a senior project. Building project took out at least three holes, but zero has been done since the original scattering ofbaskets around the property.Found three baskets on a scrap heap behind a shed, one overgrown with weeds and vines well off any path, and one with a mower-damaged base. My kids and I were underwhelmed.
A pity, as this is a nice location with possibilities for a good course.

Wide open 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 22, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice view of the rolling hills of northern Pennsylvania. Well groomed, wide, open fairways. Decent use of elevation, first half the front 9 plays down a long field close to the road, and then back up the other side of the field. #8 is a nice uphill with a tree island making two corridors to play along.

Cons:

No tee's at all, or ruts even, make it a bit confusing to navigate, especially since not all the baskets on the front nine are labeled any longer. I found the start of the back nine, but could only locate 3 additional pins, despite walking around the entire school.

Other Thoughts:

We could only find 13 pins in total. I think this is more of a temporary course, and it doesn't seem to get much play at all. It could be a fun Gorilla course though, with some imagination.
