Pros:
Solid baskets
Good design given the land to work with
Flows great (i.e. it's not a John Houck walk .25 miles between holes).
Plays quick, played 2 rounds in an hour.
In a park, so manicured well.
Good shot variety, can throw forehands, backhands, rollers on many holes.
Cons:
Natural Tee Pads, although not really an issue here because this course doesn't get played that often so erosion isn't an issue.
There's a bench that's just been put in on hole 6 that is right in the line of your drive.
Say's it's a private members only park, but saw no enforcement of it.
Other Thoughts:
Solid little 9 hole course that is a lot of fun to play. There's only 1 "long" hole and all the rest are short holes. That said the designer did nice job given the land to work with. The course plays mostly under a bunch of mesquite trees so low and accurate shots are required. Great course to dial in your midrange and putting game. If you're passing through on I-10 I'd stop and check this one of the list.
