Pros:

Felderman Park DGC is a run of the mill nine hole course. The course plays counterclockwise around the outskirts of the park, starting and ending by the parking lot. Very easy to navigate since it basically just plays from hole to hole.

The baskets here are Mach II's which were all in good shape and caught well enough. One basket and pin position per hole.

Natural tees, but due to the low volume of play out here these were all in great shape. Nothing rutted out or anything. There's painted concrete blocks imbedded in the ground the serve as the "tee". These are painted a reddish-orange color and have a blue # indicating the hole. Very basic but effective enough.

The course is totally flat and mostly open, but there are a few trees in play toward the middle of the course at least. Holes 3 through 6 incorporate them with the rest being basically wide open shots. The wind will be a factor out here more often than not due to the open nature of the park. The creek can come into play on the right for holes 3 and 4. It would require a shank or really bad tree kick to reach it though, but it is in play.

Permanent and free to play. Very clean and quiet little park. I highly doubt it's ever too busy out here. In fact, I'd bet there's rarely another person playing out here.

Cons:

The walking path comes into play on a number of holes. Not a huge deal if you're careful, but worth noting.

The first couple holes are just wide open shots on flat ground. Very bland start to the round. Hole 7 is about the same too.

Very hard to locate the "tees". Not that it matters too much, but it's easier to just play from the previous basket than to wander around looking for the embedded stone. These are pretty close to the last basket you played to anyway.

Other Thoughts:

Decent little course, I'd play it a good amount if it was near me. Not worth going out of your way to play by any means, but if you're nearby you can certainly do worse than this one. There's just nothing special about it.
