Open Meadows, Guardian Trees, and Couches 2+ years

Pros:
-A 9-hole course with 6 baskets settled in a meadow in the shape of a Lollipop Lamb Chop. The meadow is mostly open with a scattering of trees. The meadow is lined with towering pine trees.
-The strength of the course is a few baskets placed with guardian trees, and a roller basket O.B played twice. Also a few holes just less than 300 feet, and #9 just under 400 feet.
-It would appear the course designer is still tweaking the course. In my research only 5 baskets were listed, when I played there 6 were placed. Both the solo Discatcher and the 5 Dynamic Recruit catch well! Maybe more additions will be added to the course?
-The meadows had been mowed and likely kept mowed providing great support for the natural tees, and approach shots.
-Navigation is a zig pattern playing 5 baskets out with the Discatcher Hole 1, the rest Dynamic Recruit. Turning back around for the final 4 holes. Baskets for Hole's 1, 5, and 9 are only played once. UDisc will help on most holes, check my wall post for tee locations.
-The course can be wind dominant, when I played the wind was blowing 15-25 m.p.h. providing some wind play with my disc's.
-The course is located on the end of a road toward Lake Gaston surrounded by trees, and homes mostly unseen. It's very quiet and provided a pleasant playing experience with scenery. There's a tennis court just off the 9th basket providing two very comfortable outdoor couches to be used.
-From the bag on the tee mid's, fairways, and drivers.
-Beginners and Recreational this is going to be an enjoyable experience with a chance for good scoring. Intermediate and Advanced the wind will make the course fun with a few basket challenges, or just enjoy the walk.

Cons:
-No tee markers, hole signs, navigation aids, and most importantly a starting point marker for hole 1. UDisc will help with hole 2 and forward, and I left directions on how to find tee markers for those without UDisc on the wall. Hole 1 tee location is my creation since a 6th basket was added on and no help from UDisc, I picked the longest possible distance to basket 1 and to start a good flow to Hole 2.
-It would be possible to add at least another basket and not clutter the meadow. Not sure if a total of three more is possible it could get a little close and not make navigation sense.
-If there happens to be more than two groups on the course you may have to wait, but you'll see each other before the wait happens, so no surprises.
-There was a dog walker using the center of the meadows while I played, but they stay away, and I never had to wait on them. No doubt others use the meadows for activities, can't blame them its beautiful walk.
-A road lines the No. 2 and 9 fairways, another road behind the No. 4/6 shared basket a roller into the road. I saw very little traffic, likely residents.
-Disc loss should be at a minimum, but possible by overshooting the No. 1 basket and into the heavy woods. The woods also line the No. 7 fairway.
-It would be possible to add at least another basket and not clutter the meadow. Not sure if a total of three more is possible it could get a little close and not make navigation sense.

Other Thoughts:
Ferncliff Disc Golf Course if you take if for what it is an open meadow on lush fairways, towering pines bordering the course with nice homes, a handful of baskets, an unmarked course, those comfortable couches just off the 9th basket on the tennis court will give you the feeling of a Recreational/Residential Course and that's what it is, and I enjoyed my time playing. There are some courses I've found therapeutic, and Ferncliff is among them, its peaceful. If for some reason, I found myself passing by on Hwy 158 I would drive the 6 miles to play the course with hopes of an upgrade. The only personnel con I have, is I wish it was a full 9-basket course, but I have a feeling the course just might stay the way it is for the time being.
My overall rating is anchored on a lush meadow, variety of distances, basket guardians, and yes, those couches is placed at a 3.0 there's potential. The time to play taking pictures was 25 minutes.
Wind/and the Lollipop:
-Baskets 1 and 9 are placed in the stick of the lollipop pork chop at least 100 feet wide, the pork chop is on the left which is the larger part of the meadows. The other 4 baskets ring the pork chop. The towering pines slowed the wind down holes 5 and 6 far end of the meadows. The wind at 15-25 m.p.h. provided some remarkable disc flights for the rest of the course. #9 at 387 feet is funneled with a stronger wind with a memorable tee shot watching my disc bounce downwind with skip and providing distance for an outside C2 chance for birdie.
Notable Basket Placements:
-No.2/8 basket is placed under the canopy of a large spruce tree. The lower branches are just a few feet above the basket, making it difficult for any possibility of an ace run.
-No.3/7 basket is placed in the middle of trees with branches straight up in the air. There're just a few feet of space between trees and basket, making the basket look like it was in jail.
The Couches:
-Gotta mention the couches, it's the first time I've sat down at a course. There big and fluffy, and after playing 3 courses getting up at 430am I had to do it. If I had the time I would have curled up and taken a nap, had to talk myself in getting up and heading back home.
Signature/Trouble Hole:
No. 6 Par 3 at 293 feet is across the meadows, open and straight at the basket. There two fairway trees at about 230 feet out with a large gap, hitting any tree would be a disappoint, the tree on the left provides some protection for the basket, skilled players should be able to work around it. The basket is placed between two pine trees with a gap of 15 feet. The basket is on a shelf and a roller into the road just 12 feet behind the basket and OB. The green surface is pine needle straw with a fast surface. The basket also serves as hole 4 with a more difficult angle, but the hole is just 158 feet. My drive needed better effort, so I just pitched up to the basket.
