This hole has no real forehand approach. You can't see the basket from the tee but it is to the left of the big pines on the top of the next hill. You can go around those pines to either side and birdie. The fairway is tight and there is trouble on both sides. A lightly overstable midrange or fairway driver is your best bet.

No matter how you slice it, you want to land to the left of the mown "fairway" that travels from the tee to the gap in the woods. It is 409' to that gap. Anywhere to the left is better than almost anywhere to the right. There is no defined path to the basket on your second shot.

A low shot under the trees can fade into the hill and leave you with a shot at birdie. Going over the trees is a possibility if you have a BIG arm. The basket is approximately 15 feet higher than the tee so this hole can play a lot longer than it's stated distance. If you have a long second shot, plan on skipping it up the hill towards the basket. The basket is at the crown of the hill, it's all downhill on the other side.

This is a 300' throw that goes about 10' downhill elevation change from tee to basket. The basket is behind a line of tall pine trees to the right. There is a medium height pine to the left and smaller trees in the middle of the fairway. Recent trimming has opened up a low-ceiling, hyzer flip route between the line of pines and the edge of the woods on the right. It's narrow, but might be a good bet in windy conditions.

Locals either throw a forehand flex or, more often, a sweeping anhyzer starting way out to the left of the pine tree to get close to the basket. A low forehand throw can work if you can avoid the small trees. A thumber is also a viable option. Rollers can be difficult due to the height of the grass.

A hyzer between the trees or a forehand flex that hugs the left side of the fairway and fades back to the basket are your two choices here.

A flick or a turnover shot that turns right, through the narrow gap in the trees, can land right under the basket. Turnovers and anhyzers can tend to roll away from the basket if they don't flatten out before hitting the ground.

The only backhand approach that can get close to the basket is straight through the 6-8' gap in the trees directly in front of the tee box. An easy hyzer that crosses to the right side of the fairway can fall under the basket. Don't throw too hard, this hole plays shorter than it looks.

Throw a stable putter or midrange with a little bit of anhyzer, or an understable disc to break right through the largest gap in the trees and layup for birdie. This hole can be aced.

There is a second "lane" to the left of the gap mentioned above. Throw an understable mid to the left of all the trees in the middle and if it breaks at the right time you can hit the basket.
