Not sure when this course is open 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Dec 12, 2012 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Scenic pond that is in play on 3 holes, lots of trees and a lot of variety. Open, tight, lefty, right, short, medium, and a couple of long holes---the course is designed pretty well. Navigation not really too difficult...holes 4-7 are a little walk from the rest of the course but an arrow painted on Hole 8's tee box should direct players down the path to these wooded holes.

Cons:

I'm not sure when this course is open, other than for the annual tournament here which is usually the second Saturday in December. A few holes have slight elevation changes.

Other Thoughts:

If you're into Jesus and disc golf, this is an excellent place to combine the two. I'm pretty sure this course gets a lot of play during the summer when I would think the cabins on site, the huge cafeteria, and the rectory would be full of campers. If this course was open year-round, I would probably rate it higher than a three, but I don't get the feeling that it's really accessible to the general public other than the tournament in December.

Good, but not public! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 13, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

Mix of open and woods
Nice baskets
Clean course

Cons:

Holes were short but setup nice

Other Thoughts:

This course is a private course and we were informed by the director that a call needs to be made in advance before playing there. The facilities are used for camps and retreats and they need to know who is there for liability reasons.
