Pros:
Humana practice area is currently down to 3 baskets. It appears they decided to get rid of the white plastic ones. They looked awful from the pictures and were probably deemed an eyesore.
The three baskets currently there are all Mach's that were in OK shape and caught fine.
Decent, albeit thin strip of land to practice shots.
Grass was mowed.
Cons:
The "first" basket I played to was set up right next to a tree. Like right next to it. This is the kind of pin placement you'd never see at a course so not sure how this is helpful.
There's prairie grass behind this basket too. And a paved road in front of it. Nothing like overthrowing a drive at a practice area and having to look for your disc in tall grass. Especially with SOOO much more available mowed space. Ugh.
Plays in a straight line away from where you park. So it's a lengthy walk back to your car. You can at least make it a 5 hole foray if you play back to the prior two baskets. I played back to the second basket and skipped the leaning, prairie grass one.
Not sure if you're even supposed to be here or not. I played it around 5 PM on a Saturday so the place was empty.
Other Thoughts:
Total waste of time. Not even good for a practice area. It's surprising to see baskets at a place like this tbh. I wouldn't even bother.
I was excited to see the plastic baskets from the pics on here. I love some trainwreck homemade baskets. That was a little disappointing. Off in the distance I think I may have seen the broken remnants of those by a maintanence shed. Sadly I decided not to investigate further. May they not catch solid putts in basket heaven. RIP.
