Great 9 hole 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 9, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Very well put together
Great for practicing shorter throws/ a quick warm up before a round at the big course.
Great for quick one disc round. I play it a few times a week on my lunch break and can get 18 in with time to spare (I work 7 mins away)
Good flow with excellent use of the terrain and wooded areas allowing for a variety of shots.
Brand new baskets
Steps from a Dynamic Discs store that is full of anything you could ever possibly want or need. Including a friendly and knowledgeable staff who is always ready to give pointers or hook you up with new gear.

Cons:

Really not a con because they are coming but right now it has natural tee pads.

No real cons about it.

Other Thoughts:

It's a great addition to what is sure to be a disc golf destination in the coming years. The addition of this course is great and will grow the game by giving the newer or younger players a chance to build confidence, get a feel for the game, and learn a variety of shots.

Unlike most 9 hole courses this one really does a good job of putting the baskets behind trees, on slopes, around corners... etc.

I usually take one disc and only throw forehands or try shots I normally would not. It has really improved my game.

Plus you cannot beat having a legit disc golf store basically on the course. I think they would even loan you a disc if its your first time. They are awesome dudes that know everything there is to know about disc golf.

Throw 9 on this course then head over to the big course to test your skills.

Great Beginner and Ace Run Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 28, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Fun course with short holes. It is perfect for beginners, a warm up round or if you're short on time. The course is mowed frequently by the city, which is much appreciated.

Cons:

Natural tee pads, no signs(I think both of those are coming). Some of the woods are still thick so try not to end up there.

Other Thoughts:

A neighbor or 2 on the last few holes wasn't particularly thrilled on the course going in, so be respectful.

Favorite 9 hole in NWA 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 6, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Trash cans on course. Bathrooms in park adjoined to J Beast (18 hole) and hole 1 is located by disc store (excellent selection/helpful & knowledgeable staff/trial discs.) Diverse course that can be played quickly. Well maintained- mowed regularly, nice parking lot.

Cons:

In its infancy- give it a little more time and the few stumps with be removed and concrete tee boxes will be installed.

Other Thoughts:

Hole 2 is amazing- favorite short hole period... great warmup to walk over to J Beast or play it twice to make 18
