Pros:

nice park setting, very nice baskets, in town

Cons:

no tee off marker for hole 1. No-step holes, not really a fan of this, and they use it on a lot of holes. seems if they had just placed the tee offs a bit further from the baskets, or in a different spot it would be unnecessary. I don't mind it on one or two holes, but it is overused at this course. Also it can get very busy when the local schools have finished for the day, and all of the children walk through the course to get home from school. None of the children seemed to even know what disc golf was, and they look at you like you are playing some game from outer space.

Other Thoughts:

good course to play if you have to go into christchurch for the day, and are looking for something to do. If you find yourself up at the castle hill rocks, bring your discs, and play there. no baskets, but you can make an object course using the natural surroundings.
