Kankakee Valley 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 3, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

First 6 holes are in pine trees, 6 are fairly open, 6 are wooded. I found the course easy to follow and tees were well marked.

Cons:

Hole 12, do not take a cart down to tee pad, leave at the top of the hill. If playing a tournament, it can be a bit tight.

Other Thoughts:

Great course, really enjoyed throwing it. I believe par was 57, my first time throwing I shot a 56, followed by a 60. The owner and his family as the others involved with the Exodus Tour put on a great tournament, interaction with other disc golfers was great.

The first course in stark county 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 12, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

•Private course dedicated to disc golf.
•Good mix of short, long, technical, and open holes
•Good baskets (latitude 64) that catch well
•Course is easy to follow
•Protected baskets make for interesting putts
•A variety of throws are need to score under par
•An outhouse and drinking water

Cons:

•Tee pads are rather small and footing can be suspect
•Some tee pads and baskets are close to other fairways
•Signs are small and are rather close to the tee pad
•No practice basket

Other Thoughts:

This course is still in its infancy. Casey has done a great job building his course. The tee pads need some work but it's still very playable (I had fun playing it). As the course gets older I can only imagine it getting better. As it stands now it's a very solid course and definitely worth playing.
