Some Flaws, but Nice to Have a Course in this Area 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 12, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice park

Mach V baskets

Some length for a 9-hole

Flow is decent

One alternate pin position observed, assumption is there are more

Some tee signs (about half of the holes)

Some mature trees in play

Cons:

Multiple crossing fairways

Two holes that play over fenced baseball outfield

Two holes that play over horseshoe pits

Very little variety in shot shapes and distances

Mostly flat

Other Thoughts:

Odds are good that it would be very difficult to play a full round during busy times for the park. There are lots of different facilities and equipment in this park.

Playing RHBH there was one slight turnover shot and one mostly straight shot, besides these everything played straight to fade or hyzer.

Most holes were in the 270' to 310' range. I think a wider variety of lengths would play better, especially for recreational players.

I would consider this an average 9-hole course, one that you won't feel too bad for stopping and playing, but also one you shouldn't feel bad for driving by.
