Must play classic event! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 17, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

This park is used for what disc golf was started as, object courses. Believe it or not people did play disc golf much before there were baskets, before there were 12 speed drivers or even midranges and in the case of this tourney, before there were golf discs. This tourney started in 1977. You play to taped trees, park benches, firehydrants, and road signs for targets.

Cons:

Not any cons for me to go for on this one while I am sure many people can find stuff to complain about such as the targets. This is what the game started as and many legends of the game play this event, the minneapolis open, kenwood open and moir mystery madness every year.

Other Thoughts:

Long technical course, over 6000 ft, lots or low ceilings and many par 4 type holes that will get you. I threw rollers of the tee on 6 of the 18 holes personally. If you miss your putt on the roads edge tree, pole, road sign which were 4 holes, your ob and take a stroke. Awesome course and super fun!
