Pros:
-Good equipment, solid baskets and clear tees
-Well maintained property. It's a multi-use council run golf, footgolf and disc golf park so it is well mowed and trimmed
-Good use of the exisiting features. For a golf course style course there are some tunnel shots, elevation changes and obstructed greens
-Really well targeted for the casual player in the UK (50-90m holes)
-Great use of a small property
Cons:
-Grass tees (the ground is nice and sandy though, very few issues with mud)
-Distance will circumvent basically all of the challenge here. All of the foliage is quite low so over the top shots are not out of the question
-Only par 3s
-A few holes put the course boundary (gardens) into play for errant shots which made me a bit nervy, especially with a bit of wind up
-There's some overlapping fairways which makes navigation a bit confusing, and knowing the correct target took some working out. The basket density in some areas was confusingly high
Other Thoughts:
Hopefully we'll see more local events at this place, it's certainly set up to be a breeding ground for new players!
