Middle of nowhere gold 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 9, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course was amazing for it's location. Chanute is a small Kansas town in the middle of nowhere. The course sits on an old ball golf course so the grounds are well manicured and established. The area surrounding the course is mostly fields which keeps the course clean and quiet. The course is long but par is fair.

Cons:

The course is far from any large city's. The highways to get there are old and you can only go 65. The tee pad on hole 14 is a little short for the holes distance over the water, but that's a small thing.

Other Thoughts:

This course is phenomenal for where it happens to be. I would strongly recommend it to anyone traveling threw southeast Kansas. There's a cool old hotel in downtown Chanute worth crashing in for the night.

Wide open course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 18, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Very open course with plenty of chances to work on your long game.Played on a old golf course so it's always nicely mowed and maintained.Baskets are from Dynamic Discs and are some of the best baskets in my opinion.

Cons:

Water comes into play.Wind can be a problem here but that can be everywhere.Course can be hard to navigate and the tees are being worked on when I was there.

Disc golf paradise 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 1, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

The view on most holes is beautiful. Most holes 400ft or better(i like to throw long). Nice trash cans. No walking trails on course.

Cons:

I live about a hundred miles away.

Other Thoughts:

I have played over a hundred courses and never done a review but after playing here I had to do one. This is one of the best courses I have ever played. The fairways are cut out very wide and every tree is used really well. There is signs on every hole and course is pretty easy to follow. I would play here everyday if I lived in the area. If you are ever near this town PLAY THIS COURSE!!
