Pros:
Concrete tees, though small. Interesting shots. Convenience store very close.
Cons:
Absence of tee signage. Conflicts with other park facilities.
Other Thoughts:
It's a typical small town park, the only one in town, so there are a lot of things going on in one place. In addition to the course, there is baseball, a fairground, stage, play equipment, rodeo ring and parking to support all of that. When anything else is going on, there will be at least one hole that will be unplayable. There are only a few holes that are not affected by these conflicts.
Aside from those cons, the course is very fun to play as there are many interesting throws and most of the holes allow you a choice of methods in which to play them. There is a Casey's convenience store across the street from the 1st tee, so you have your snack and beverage needs covered.
It's a fun little course if you find yourself in Maxwell.
