Pros:
+ Brand new course equipment. Awesome concrete tees, illustrative tee signs, and baskets that most people can only dream of. A gorgeous map at the beginning of the courses.
+ Clear flow. There are arrows on each basket pointing to the next tee. None of the holes overlap each other.
+ Fantastic for beginners, for a warm-up round, and for ace runs. Very little stands in the way of most baskets, which are 175-250 ft in length.
+ #7 is a cool hole to end on. It's a fun "choose your gap" hole with a guardian tree. Nifty use of the terrain.
+ Very clean and maintained, though the rough surrounding the creek looks ominous, most players won't end up in there.
Cons:
- As a standalone course, this would be nothing to write home about. It's not thrilling, by any means.
- Pretty boring in terms of challenge, which was clearly the purpose, but there isn't much in terms of elevation or woods.
Other Thoughts:
All in all, this is your textbook 2.0 course. A fun way to start or end your experience at Maxwell.
