This is a blind tee shot to a green on the left.

Hard hyzers tend to end up short and often in the woods on the left side. You want to avoid this as much as possible, those woods are very difficult to get out of. Needing 2 or 3 shots just to get out is not unheard of.

The right side of the fairway presents much cleaner lines to the basket. Even going long into the clearing to the right of the fairway can present some clean lines back through the trees.
