Pros:
Had a great Kiosk with course map
two sets of tee's, white and red
Cement Tee pads for both white and red
Nice Tee signs
Cons:
most of the holes are LONG and boring. There are not a lot to work with out there.
Other Thoughts:
This is the sort of course you expect in a small town. A course thrown into a park that really is not a good location for Disc Golf. Mostly because it might be the ONLY park in town so it is this park, or no course.
This was another P-Katt course, he did good with what he had and the course has some added features that kept me from giving the course a lower rating.
I was short on daylight and wanted to get another course in before dark, so I played the closes tee to the last basket, this put me playing mostly the red tee's.
Hole 1, from the white tee, this is actually a neat hole to throw, you have a small elevated window throwing from the hill for the tennis course down to an elevated basket.
Actually, most of all the holes have 2 pin positions one flat and one elevated.
Then all the rest of the holes are pretty open, maybe a tree or two in the fairway till you get to an interesting hole 9.
Hole 9 from the White tee has a double mando between two polls. This is on the ridiculous side because the mando is almost 1/2 way down the fairway. Unless you have a huge arm, your goal is to just throw to the red tee which is right in front of the mando then throw a 2nd long shot to the basket.
Would I play here again?
no, the course is LONG and boring. I am also NOT a fan of elevated baskets.
However I will point out that every hole that has an elevated basket is done a different way. This does make it interesting in a way. I still don't like it though.
