Fun short course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 13, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a fun short course for both experienced and beginners. Mix of shorter and a couple long shots as well as some slight elevation change and pong threat.

Cons:

One of the holes feels like you are playing through people's back yards. This is ok so long as the home owners are cool but that can leave people weary and uncertain. I have incountered people who are not happy if you come in their yard.
There are a couple holes where it is not easy to tell which is your basket. Make sure to use there posted map

Other Thoughts:

I wish there were more beginner friendly 9 or even 18 hole courses that are quick to play like this!
Add to the course details where is best to park. I played on a sunday so I just parked in the school circle drive. Otherwise there is not really a good place to park without a little walk.

well done in Eldon 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Nice double chain baskets , concrete pads, and signs with distance to pin marked. Good use of trees on holes 1, 4,5,6, 8 to make you shape your shot . Challenging enough for intermediate players yet fun for rec and beginners. Longest hole was just over 300 ft. slight elevation changes on 1 , 2, and 7. Pretty park with a lake and the course is disc only ( no other activities getting in your way ). Several ace and bird ops. Grass was well mowed. .

Cons:

The Tpads were smallish but not a real gripe since you wont need a huge runup on most holes. Didnt see any trashcans or benches but that too is not a issue really since you should haul out your own waste paper or cans and it only takes 30 minutes or less to play the course. Be careful not to hyzer your drive on 9 into the thorns like I did. Got scratched up and bloody.

Other Thoughts:

This is a fun little course and I wish there was more room for 9 more holes but just play it twice! More fun and challenging than the other course in town.
