just WOW! 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Beautiful course, well taken care of, signs and tees look amazing. Course is a lot of fun with a great variety of wooded and open shots with varied elevation but nothing too extreme. Cart friendly. On-site brewery serves super tasty beer too.

Cons:

Easy to spend a lot of money at the brewery with all the great choices of beer but is that really a bad thing? I say it is not but this is the closest thing to a complaint I could find about this absolute gem.

Other Thoughts:

50 minute drive from my house but will definitely find any excuse to be back. Great job and big thank you to everybody involved!

Best course in Connecticut 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Expertly crafted tee pads, well marked signage, fair yet challenging fairways. Open fields to complement the New England forest. A disc golfers paradise once you take the on site brewery into account as well.

Cons:

cant think of any, sometimes the grass gets long but the property owner is pretty good about keeping the fields mowed

Get up to the farm 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 15, 2019 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This was my 5th round here and the first one with the tee pads and signs up. This was already an incredible course but the professional looking paver pads and tee signs are full package. They have also done extensive clearing and mowing as well so no concerns with getting lost or it being wild. Make sure to stop in for a pint in the taproom or grab something to go. The course overall has a great mix of open field bomber holes, tight new England forest holes all built very well on a gorgeous property. There are several holes over 400 but nothing to scare away a first timer of newbie. Only a few holes have water in play and there are little pink flags that serve as your bread crumb trail for hole to hole. One note it #14 - after you putt out it looks like you should keep walking past the basket deeper into the woods. But you need to spin around and walk back up the hole to the farm dirt/gravel road and head right 100 feet or so. You will see #15 tee pad off the left side of the gravel/dirt road. From its a short par 3 that sets up #16 that has the famous open field view and windmills in the background. This place is a must play.

Cons:

Not too many cons.....especially being the fact a brewery is one site.
