Not a bad 9 hole course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:May 15, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

New course map on the east side of the bathrooms.
New tee signs on every hole, real nice tee signs too.
They rearranged the course in 2016 to improve the flow.
Easy, close parking.
You won't need your cart or carry a lot of discs.
Nice, short holes 160' up to 250'
Not much chance of losing a disc unless you really shank one out into the ponds.
Not a lot of players there so you can take your time, throw multiples and just practice and relax.

Cons:

Goose crap everywhere! Some as big as a small dogs.
Lots of annoying geese walking around.
Lots of walkers, joggers, dog walkers, and fishermen around holes 1, 2, 3, and 4. The rest of the holes were fine

Other Thoughts:

Beside the TONS of goose crap and the people, I really enjoyed the course. You'll only need a putter, a midrange and a fairway driver if you want.
It was a great course for me to try out a few different throwing putters I have and a couple different midranges and see what each one does. I'll go back again. It was a really nice day so maybe there would be less people at other times.

Unfinished course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 9, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Lots of risky vs. reward opportunities.

Good looking course with plenty of water hazards

9 Discatcher baskets in excellent shape.

Cons:

No tee pads, tee markers, or tee signs. There are simply no tees. You can not play this course without a guide.

very high risk of disc loss mostly due to water, but some chance of loss on in foliage . The very first hole starts with 250+ ft. water carry. Hole 4 has a very narrow strip with water on both sides. This course can be extremely frustrating for newer players.

Hole 8 played parallel with a busy road and walking path making it a very hazardous hole. People were fishing on 3 of the 9 holes with in feet of the basket or fairway. Several times we had to stop playing to allow walkers to go by.

Other Thoughts:

This course is a nice finesse course, but it DESPERATELY needs set tees to be taken seriously.

Its a fun change from other Rochester courses, but it could get very expensive playing here frequently.
