Good potential, unrealized 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 3, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Concrete tees
- Good baskets
- Good signage
- Course flows well
- Good elevation

Cons:

- Wide open for the most part
- Some safety concerns
- repetitive
- tee signs too close to the pads

Other Thoughts:

The course occupies a large park that contains a softball complex at one end and a number of soccer fields at the other. There is an expanse of land that's about 50/50 open to densely wooded. The course utilizes all of the open portion of this land, missing an opportunity to have some technical wooded holes.

With a few exceptions, the holes are mostly in the low 400' to low 500' range, meaning if you're an average player who drives 300-350', you will throw as hard as you can with no real worry of hitting an obstacle and have a 100' or so upshot for a drop-in 3. There are a couple of holes in the reachable-for-mortals range.

As mentioned earlier, it's a wide-open course, but there are several holes that are bordered by a line of trees on one side, always on the right side of the fairway. Some balance could have been achieved by routing some holes with trees on the left side instead.

Lastly, and more importantly, there is a walking path that winds through the park. On at least two holes, you are required to throw around a corner of trees blindly where walkers will be in very close proximity to the intended route of the disc.
