Paseo Verde Trailhead Park is a great little neighborhood park. It's built along power lines and is only about a block wide, squeezed in between the street and the neighbor's yards. The park is nicely landscaped with desert plants before sloping slightly downhill to larger expanses of lush, green grassy areas. There is a nice little playground at the start along with restrooms.

The disc golf course starts here by the bathrooms. The course has a course map at the beginning, nice little concrete pads, simple tee signs and brand new DGA baskets with the red numbers on top.

Starting off with the first four beginner holes. I thought this was going to be one of those great little, short courses, perfect for beginners and newbies. The first two holes are less than 150' open ACE runs. # 3 was slightly more challenging, throwing uphill over the brush and a fence but still a fun, challenging throw. # 4 was a 195'straight shot but with a pole and garbage can directly in your way.

Then course navigation got really strange. You come to a nice large downhill section of lawn, a perfect place for # 5. But instead of throwing a fun little downhill here, you have to walk clear to the far downhill end to find the tee pad and a basket with no number. The remaining holes are open, longer and not nearly as interesting as the first four and didn't seem to belong on the same course.

Listed pars are great for elementary players like # 7's 300' Par 5.

Navigation is surprisingly confusing for a simple little 7 hole course.

First four holes have distinct possibilities of hitting neighbors, houses and cars.

Had the designer decided to really keep this course short (holes under 200'), they could have easily put in 9 holes.

Missed opportunity after # 4. This is such an obvious spot for # 5. An easy 275' downhill leading to the final holes.

As the course stands now, I don't know who's going to play it. The navigation difficulties will keep some players from returning. The first four holes, although short, are not necessarily beginner friendly.

I was really prepared to like this course after the first four holes. The back three was so disappointing!

Seems like with the space provided more holes could have been added to make this at least a 9 hole course. Houses and park patrons (as well as signs) make the big throws impossible.

Good course for honing in your short game.

Very well manicured grass. Good quiet location. Playground for the kids if they aren't going to play a round with you. Lots of street parking. Short holes for those beginners that are willing to learn how to play. Clean bathrooms, good locals.

I can't see there being anything bad to say about this course. Sure, it is only 7 holes, but there really isn't much room out there for more. It is built in a park setting with houses and powerlines.

If you are on your way back from having lunch at the Coffee Cup Cafe in Boulder City, NV...this is a great place to hit up on your way back to Las Vegas. Bring your putter, maybe a driver for the last two holes. There is not much more needed. The layout is odd, but it is a good place to blow off some energy for an afternoon.

The area the course uses is nicely maintained with manicured grass, nice concrete tee pads, nice looking signs and brand new baskets. The course has mostly shorter beginner friendly shots with a couple longer holes at the end. There is a course map posted by the bathroom near the first tee, it's helpful as the layout isn't all that obvious.

The layout is very strange, the first few holes play over several walking paths and near private backyards. This poses lots of safety issues and makes for short wide open shots. Then you have to walk a long way to the other end of the area to find hole 4 (the walk is approximately equal to the total length of all the holes on the course combined). The last three holes are still wide open, and just slightly longer. These avoid the walking path and instead bring the road into play.

Beginners will find this course approachable but boring. More experienced players won't find any interest or challenge here. The layout ignores the one chance for a fun throw in the grassy area by walking all the way downhill to throw back uphill. It also ignores the more interesting rocky terrain that would keep the course away from the road and walking trails.

Where to start...
Very confusing layout. I spent more time trying to reconcile what I was seeing on the course to the maps than I did actually throwing discs. One traverse has you walking ALL the way from one end of the area to the other for the next tee...and no sign(other than the overview at the beginning) to tell you so.
The signs are really nice, but they're just wrong. This is worse than no signs.
Too short. Instead of 2/3 quality holes, there are 7 bad ones.
No variety. There's a nice downhill walk from the "front" 3 to the "back" 3, but no hole. Missed a good DH throwing opportunity.
Course is squished into the space...bad throws can be off the course into the road or someone's yard.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I want to help the next guy know that this one really is not worth the trip. This is a good example of a course that really just shouldn't exist. The space is entirely too small for a course. I wouldn't even bother putting 3 holes here, much less trying to cram 9(or 7) into it. At best perhaps a practice area with 2 baskets and 2 pads, so you can throw back and forth. I also left very frustrated that I wasted so much time trying to figure out the layout of a course where I can see every single basket standing at hole one. I'm sure this course was installed because there was an opportunity, but imho, this is an example of when to just say no.

This park is nicely manicured with mowed and plenty of landscaping, including bushes, flowers, and all manner of desert flora. There are some courts for some sport (bocce?) that you throw over on the 3rd hole, and the park looks like it could be fun for some other activities.

Every hole has a concrete tee pad and a little map with the distance. There is a little bit of elevation here, but only a little. If you want to work on your ace total, this is probably the place. At least five holes are very ace-able.

There are only seven holes. The map(s) on this site show two holes that don't exist (no tee pad, no basket). I played a made-up hole between 4 and 5 (throw from the sidewalk to the basket for #6) since there is an absurdly long walk. Navigation was surprisingly tough for such a small place.

Although I like having a couple short holes on a course, holes 1, 2, 4, and 5 are way too short (~150 feet). When you could almost jump putt your drive, the hole is too short.

No trees, so there is no shade. At one point I stood in the shade of a utility pole for some relief from the sun.

Vegas is really under-served with courses considering the population, so I can't argue with any course that makes it into the ground. There are a couple fun shots here, and if you play everything that isn't grass as OB, there is some challenge. But don't go out of your way to play this one.

Note: there is a rocky, desert area behind the tee pad for #2. I didn't explore this area, but it looks like there could be a much more challenging course installed here (a back 7, perhaps?).

New and in great condition. Very well marked. Good layout. Fairly compact.

Only 7 holes. The course is right up against several houses. One basket is a couple yards from a cove. Another hole runs right along a large wall that separates backyards from the course. Very easy to lose discs this way. People not very friendly. Will NOT give you your disc back.

One hole goes uphill over a garden/landscaped area. You've got to get your drive past it or it will drop into this landscaped area that is fenced in. It essentially creates a bunker and makes a very difficult approach shot.

Super clean & brand new shortish course. Superb signage, tee boxes, and baskets. Perfectly mowed grass & some nice sight lines on tee shots. Very little foot & DG traffic. Cute, original and workable layout for the given space. The middle grassy section of the course makes for a terrific "driving range" for tee shot practice.

Mega hot. The course is laid out for 9 holes, but there are currently only 7 tee boxes & baskets.

The sub-150ft holes played more like par 2s, while the other holes are legit 3s. The course would definitely be more difficult if the non-grassy areas were played as OB. Best DG parking is the street between 1st & 2nd sections.
