2nd Best 6 hole course I have ever played 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 5, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Map of the course near the parking lot. (on the left as soon as you drive into the lot
Holes are marked by a stick in the ground with the hole number on it and some cement markers panted yellow.
Good use of the land given. it is a small park.

Cons:

Tee pads were grass, at least they were not dirt/mud
The tee sign and cement markers were only stuck into the ground, hole 3's tee was actually laying on the ground.
It is a small park, hole 3 and 4 are a little too close together.
Hole 4 has a volley ball court right to the right of the fairway. My disc landed in what should have been the court.

Other Thoughts:

This is a very small town, I believe it says 64 people on the sign driving in. It is amazing they even have a community park much less put a few holes in it.

I have played a few 6 hole courses now, I think this is the 2nd best and even better than some of the small town 9 hole courses I have played.

I bet you could change up the design some and make it an OK 9 hole course. I doubt many people frequent the park.

Small town with a great small course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 1, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Park is pretty and super clean
-Fun throws
-Homemade baskets that catch very well
-Loaner disc station
-Cool historic buildings in play
-Course flows well
-Cool tee markers and signs
-Natural tee areas

Cons:

-Only 6 holes
-Throwing around the historic buildings feels strange
-Volleyball court may present an issue

Other Thoughts:

This is a cute little, do everything, small town park. The course was installed by somebody who cares, and it shows! The course 'welcome station" has a basket with loaner discs. The only amenity I found missing was benches, but it is only 6 holes.
I happened to be traveling through the area on a rainy day. The course is not a championship destination, however, it is a pleasant place to throw. You will have to hit lines. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this course is. I had the whole park to myself on a rainy Saturday while the Razorback game was on, but there really did not appear to be any conflicts other than the volleyball court and any town that has loaner discs sitting out in basket probably has nice folks that you can work with on the potential conflict.
