New Course: Tight and Technical 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 9, 2019 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- Tee pads are good and grippy. (tile bricks in a wooden frame)
- Handmade wooden Tee Signs on every hole
- Many blind shots off the tee but each hole has a clear lane and in some cases, multiple lanes to take.
- $5 play, Honor Box/paypal
- Constantly being cleaned up and improved upon
- Wooden bin for discs or things found on the course by starting hole

Cons:

- A few very wet holes (holes 3/8/14) Wood chips are being brought in to fix but these are super soggy. Pallets are laid down providing walkway
- Not much in the way or trash or recycling yet (couple buckets on some holes)
- No benches
- Tee signs aren't very accurate

Other Thoughts:

THIS IS A NEW COURSE!!! Keep that in mind with this review. Located right off Rt. 202. Coming from Greene/Leeds/Lewiston, look for the fireworks store then it will be on your right shortly after the turn.

The course itself is a wonderfully good time and is very challenging. Many holes may seem shorter than your average course but what they lack in distance they more than make up for in technicality. Prepare to bring your backhand/sidearm/scramble skills with you. Fairways are tight and pure lines are rewarded. This course is about placement off the tee.

You'll see 175'-220' 90 degree dog leg lefts off the tee. You'll see a 4' must hit gap 120' off the tee with an immediate dog leg right to the pin. You'll see a 500'+ bomber hole that punishes you for going too far left or right at the end of your flight. You'll need skip shots and rollers. This course is just straight fun.

The course is still rough in its infancy but is being cleaned/improved upon constantly. Owner is VERY open to, and loves hearing about, suggestions to the course. Don't be fooled by the first appearance when you pull in, this course is worth the play through. Can't wait to see how it comes together down the road.
