Pros:

Powderhorn looks like a great course (probably way over my head) and the map on this website is good.

Cons:

We took a trip to Powderhorn since it is less than an hour from home and it has been so hot that a mountain course sounded cool. Unfortunately there are no tees or baskets to be found there. A call to the resort confirmed that it is indeed closed for 2015. They claim that they will be in operation next summer with new mountain bike and hiking trails and lift(s) operating and the disc golf course open with fairways mowed. We'll try again next summer!

Other Thoughts:

Give them a call to express your interest in playing disc golf or biking or hiking or staying there. The new owners need some input to open their lands to summer recreation.
