If you can get your disc high enough, a spike hyzer, thumber, or tomahawk over the tree line in front of the short tee is a much more open option than trying to pure a lower gap through the tree line. Make sure you double check the pin location being used before throwing a particular style; the field past the tree line is wide open, but throwing the right style of shot can mean the different between being parked and having a long run for a birdie.
